Melting of Spring

With your arrival commences
The sweltering of the earth

Shivering blue voices
Give way to liquid amber tones

Pale hues
Turn anguished sienna

The flames of the fire
Have begun to rage

Consuming the last
Tendrils of timidity

Erupting into a Dance of Adoration
While the Ancestors look on

The vigorous stamping
Of Ancient Rhythms

Radiates to a final burst
Then collapses upon itself

And pools of wax
From lighted candles flow
