You open your mouth
To swallow the Moon
A sacred wafer

You chew upon it
And from between your teeth
Spills silver beams

A luminous note
Falls from your ear
With a mystical tone

It lands on my breast
And burrows into my heart
To pulse an enchanted rhythm

Your hair is a fountain
A spray of lunar nectar
It tastes soft and sweet

A white tablet is your belly
Upon which I imprint a song
With trembling lips

It becomes a poetic mist
A shimmering ode to the Moon
And to the one who has eaten of it
