Waterfalls

It begins with a drop
A liquid swelling
That absorbs a rainbow
And prepares a peridot blanket

A silent drip
Cool and pure
From a galaxy river
Along an amethyst bed

A luminous bead
From the mouth of the Moon
Upon a protruding rock
A pale, stony warrior

A tumlutuous cascade
Shimmering diamonds
Amid hints of sapphires
From dark recesses

A vigorous spray
Caught in a citrine pond
A reflecting pool
Of floating mirrors
