Salvador Dalí and An Egg
Václav Chochola, 1969
Ten tens and nine
Fifty-four and a half, doubled
CIX
The anima breath, sent forth
To circle the earth
A magnum opus
On this sacred wind
Sinewy fingers grasping
To pluck at bones of wisdom
The ancient hand will raise you up
You shall see the valley
Of tiny frogs hidden
Under a liquid sky, tinged with pink
The moss of the lost city beckons
The river of colors washes your eyes
Birds will nest in your ears
And lay eggs with messages
To be opened with teeth
You will bring them to me
Your ears with egg messages
And we will eat the prophecies
Only thus shall we live forever
Beyond the jungle
In the cup of dreams
