On December 14, 2013, I journeyed to the Mojave Desert to view the Geminid meteor shower miles away from city lights. My friends and I stumbled upon Noah Purifoy’s Outdoor Museum; a fascinating collection of sculptures formed from the flotsam and jetsam of city life.
