A Toast to Buñuel

Surrealist Filmmaker, Luis Buñuel

A red spirit
Wafting sweet
Eaters of beef
A libation complete

Into this glass
Our bodies thrown
Bones rattling
Melting cologne

To golden ages
A ruffled bride
Galaxy dreams
The gown cast aside

Barks the dog
To wide-eyed keep
Bourgeois arms
From knowing sleep
