Arcana

From the mouth of the cave
Comes a zephyr flowing outward
Carrying mysticism and magic

And with each draw of the card
Another breath emanates
Sending forth the spirit

And upon its exhalation
You travel the miles
In a heartbeat

Alighting at my door
While the Moon
Hides her face behind a cloud

And so the play begins
With but the faint glow of a candle
To illuminate the midnight hour

The story is told
Through impassioned expressions
And quiescent longings

Uniting myth and fantasy
Fairy tale and allegory
To the essence of Truth

Then the Star of Night
Finally reveals herself
To their searching eyes
