Clouds of Saturn

From the palette of grey
A blush emerges
Tingeing a shy smile

That eclipse now
The Rings of Saturn
Before our searching eyes

Iridescent clouds
Illuminating the magic
Forming a spiral

Fueled by the Solar Wind
And the pull of
Saturn’s enchantment

A seductive aura
And notes of mysticsm
Descend from the sky

We are ensnared
In the roiling storm
And beseech the Heavens

We reach out our arms
Grasping for deliverance
Succumbing to the fever

And the Clouds part
To reveal
The Shining Globe

Whose rays blaze
Across the Great Distance
To light the beauty of The Rings

That reflect back
A cascade of gems
Scattered upon the Clouds

Which we gaze upon
With awe and wonder
Our hearts alive and joyous
