And events so riveting

I hardly dare
To tear away

From the sound
Of your voice

Tinged with excitement
In the telling

Of thousands
Of tiny particles

That sparkle
Like mirrors

Descending upon
A multitude of heads

Blown from a cannon
The size of Colossus

So all are adorned
Under one rainbow

A riotous
Blanket of hues

Illuminating the mind
And reflecting the anima

In the
Shimmering surfaces

And I lay envious
With this image

Until you rise up
From the pillow

And from your hair
Flutter two small pieces
Of your soul
