A shadow melting
In a granite bed
The Sun a sacred passion

And from a barren branch
A brown leaf falls
Now crushed beneath its foot

Conveyed on a celestial carriage
Our eventide murmurings
No less than the coming dawn

Sweet kisses dropping
Like crimson petals
Upon balanced scales

Golden shimmers
As radiant tresses
Clasped in a velvet wrap

Upon a stone
We shall set The Light
So, too, the Stars this night
