Sonata

With grave intent, you enter within
A solemn introduction
To the art of love
And then to given to
Contentment of peaceful passages
Until once more,
Tragic and discordant,
The crescendo plays out

LiNdA

On a trip up to Northern California this past month, I visited friends who have on their property this old burnt out house that was built earlier in the century.  Whilst exploring and peeking through the broken glass and the brambles that have taken over,  I came upon this piano from 1857, still exquisitely beautiful.

  1. This gives new meaning to “burning” it up on the keys!

    • Michael, no kidding! Glad you got to see the old piano as well. Thanks for visiting the website – check back from time to time :)
