La Lumière de la Lune

Cover me with the light of the  Moon
And your eyes like dark stars
Searching my face

The pale glow of your skin
Warm to the touch
Beneath my fingers

In the play of shadows
Cast by a flickering flame
Moon drops glint on your cheek

A mist of silver
Descends from above
And cools my brow

Softly you lay beside
As the Moon passes over
And leaves behind a soft blanket
